4L60-E on V6 and V8

I have a '94 Firebird V6 and i was wondering if anybody knew if the automatic trans on the v6 is the same bolt patern and strength as on the v8 becouse i want to convert to the V8. so, if anybody knows please let me know.

yah i know the v6 internals are much weaker and im not sure if the bolt pattern would be the same...its possible but if your swapping in a v8 you can pick up 4L60e's and 700r4's pretty cheap...stockers that is.

what? they are the same internals, bell housing is smaller, wont bolt up to a v8. wont fit. plus you have a 60* motor. so it surely wont fit
