yea i tried thirdgen and a few others, all they had was what years the paint came on the car, no actual numbers.

Could try the IROCZONE.COM? or trying getting in touch with GM. Scott Settlemire did listings on CZ28.com for 4th gens.

GM does take them time. I requested this for the options on my 84 Z28 almost a year later they responced with a breakdown. But even that wasn't exact. I requested for a 84Z28; hardtop, no T's, Black, 305HO, 5 speed, 3:73, 4 wheel disk brake with the red Contour interior.

What I got back ( after I sold the car ) was that out of 100,000 Z28 only 226 had the 305/3:73 with the countour interior, but couldn't determine the red from blue interior or with black exterior. So the car was rare, but how rare????

1) Build it
2) Race it
3) Break it
4) Repeat!!!

not sure of what color you're referring to, but here goes my guess:

Yellow code 54 1985 -- 4,599

yellow code 51 1986 -- 3,915

yellow code 51 1987 -- 3,052

We do not have records to break down how many of a specific model came in what color AND interior trim. Records simply don't exist in a meaningful format. (well.......we COULD pay someone to sit there and count, but it would put them insane within a week!!......)

Hope this is what you were looking for!
