I USED TO HAVE an 85 Camaro 305 4bbl, 90 Firebird V6, 97 Firebird V6 (10 speakers!). Despite the two family vehicles, 3 kids, wife and mortgage, I can finally realize the dream - 88 TA almost all stock... for now.

Yeesh. Not sure which I dislike more - the TA pickup truck or the lifted 2nd gen TA with super swampers.

There is a company in Europe somewhere that does a similar conversion. Their reasoning is that import taxes on trucks are waaay cheaper than on sports cars in some of the countries over there, so they buy them, convert them (retaining stock suspension and handling characteristics), and then ship them to those countries. I found their site a while ago.
