easy do it in your backyard, i think it'll fit where the plate is on the passengerside tailpipe off the borla.

but if it fits there whats the point its after the muffler. It goes muffler then that little adjustable piece then the exhaust tips. So its not going to make a difference!

oh it must be different than what i was thinking. i thought the passenger side tailpipe bypassed the muffler.

You can mount the electric cutout there, or in the traditional location just before the cat. I would prolly mount it before the cat, and then stick the smallest open plate in the Borla so it's fairly quiet with the cutout closed, and full volume when opened.

Well right now i have the borla straight open. The day I got it back fron Pontiac dealership I took the smallest one out and left it empty. Yea I no usually before the cat but i just didnt understand why QTP made one esp. for the borla!

We usually install the cut out on the pass side tail in place of the restrictor plate assembly. This kind of makes it like a variable disc. Wide open it will bypass the muffler and closed it will shut off the pass side tail. The one you bought is designed to go there. If you want to bypass the cat we can use the one you have but it might not be of optimal size to do what you want with proper ground clearance..
