Update

I haven’t been posting on the board for a while what with full time school and a full time job. Just got a set of 01' 10 spokes today and wanted to post a pic.

Pic doesn’t do the chrome justice - it rained the entire time I was putting them on and as soon as I tightened the last nut...it stopped, sun came out.

looking VERY nice man, I've always liked the 10-spoke chrome rims. Esp combined with the WW ground effects, i think it makes camaros, expecially your style, very sharp looking.

Looks good. I like it.

Don't worry about the heat you're going to get for the car being an auto, usually those that criticize can't keep a car running for more than 2 days or can't get out of the 14's...or both

bubba - I've nothing to the engine beside rebuild it about 10k ago. only a 6 cyl, so im not racing anyone as it is so why bother to squeeze a few extra ponys out of it. Just a daily driver i like to play around with.

ap2000z28 - no i was just asking what rims u put on for the winter. As close as we live to each other i never see your car.

I'm not sure what I want to do yet. The silver ones need a new set of rubber, i still have the salad shooters with goood rubber. I think im gona save the cash instead of buying new rubber for the silver 10 spokes and put that towards the ss spoiler and ss hood + paint that i want. Whick means i dont need the silvers, but they are my brothers from when he had the car so they r really not mine to sell. I'll see if he would be interrested in selling them though, ill let you know.

the WW kit looks great on your car, and the rims actually go with it. im not a big fan of the ten spokes, and only can be pulled off wihta few colors, and it works for oyur car withthe kit. the only thing you need for oyur car is a SS wing for it now and it will be set.

thanks - U beat me to it, I ordered the spoiler tonight. The SS hood a few weeks later and then respray the entire car the week of march 3rd. Going black again but not sure if i want to mess with painting the scoop of the SS hood diff - red? grey? not really a fan of stripes. I cant stop thinking about it.

Cause shinny stuff don't impress me. yea the car looks good, but personally I don't like shinny fancy wheels, and why would I repeat the same comment:

the question of auto or manual is relevant cause this thread is not in the appearance section, and being that it makes a huge difference in the performance of the car I asked. It also costs 3mpg to have an auto 3.4.
