Let me see them tips!!

As per an other thread - I asked about exhaust shops....

Thing is I decided to get a new exhaust, one thing that I didnt like was the tips on the car-kinda threw them on and left them ( for a couple years...LOL)

Long Story-Short
I started looking at the rear end of my car critically today on my lunch break, And I started to think....

So...what is NJ oppion?

Let me see your tips, if you got a nice set up or if you got a look you like let me see- I am not trying to steal it, just hard for me to view what it may look like...

And I thought it be a cool thread.

Thanks guys,
It helps alot to see the different styles actually on the car. I cant say it enough.

On the 4th gen TA it is fitting for the corsa type tips cause it fills the open areas yet with the rear skirts hides the rest....I like it alot

On the higher back Camaro's having the streight long tips work great.

Altho emolineaux's no tips works nice too, Funny thing today I kept thinking about it and like maroman88 said " its hard to find that perfict look" just unlike maroman88 I dont want to give up...

May be the angle of the pic (KirkEvil), but I really like the tucked look on the tips- Are they and do you have a muffler?

Now dont get me wrong everyones look good- I am just enjoying looking at the styles of the exhaust tips vers the rears of the car.

I know that the car and set up can also play a part in this- like the stance for example.
So here is the 4" tips I had on the car

Just dont like them and want something that will fit better with the look.

I was thinking that if the tips fit the bumper or the bumper was molded around the tips then that would be great kinda like the 4gen TA...

has anyone seen the 85-89 corvettes with the glenwood kits, the side exhaust- they were hot alot like the ford sellby and lighting set up.

Anyway....

Lets see some more!!!!
everyone got em...well almost

The tips are tucked so that the top of the tip does not stick out farther than the bumper, but sits tight to it. The pic is with a clamped together LM catback.

Personally, I think the no tip look works the best on the 3rd gens (and 4th gen Camaros). I have seen some that make a nice pair of slash cuts look good, but I just think it breaks up the lines of the car. Mufflex sells 3.5" and 4" systems that you can option a single hidden tip on - shouldn't be hard to have any shop with a bender do the same thing for you:

Sorry for the small pic...too lazy to search for a larger one.
