Rear Hatch Motor

a few nights ago my doors in my 89 ta were frozen shut... i tried a few things to get them open but I couldn't... instead i pulled open my trunk (which was also frozen shut) and climbed thrrough my trunk and noticed that my trunk motor wouldn't stop making noise. the only way i can get it to stop is disconnect n reconnecting the battery.. i'm guessing i need to replace the motor, is that all?

That would be correct. The motor is cooked.
