Again, just playing devil's advocate here... but..

Ever watched the YB nats? Yea everyone is crowded around cars when they stage.

Been to a track rental? Yea everyone hangs around tree to watch/film/photo launch.

Nascar? Yea that fence doesn't do much if a car explodes and shrapnel gets through.

Hell even hockey can be dangerous to spectators....

Just sayin'

No one is in front or even directly next to the car when it launches. Just sayin'.

I suppose either one could be hit with shrapnel and with your car throwing bolt heads it's a real possibility but neither are in jeopardy of being hit with the car unless you are launching in reverse!

Standing at the starting line is one thing... standing on the side of the road anywhere after that is just nuts. High HP car + unprepped road=recipe for disaster, especially with no barrier. No way.

yeah but the difference between doing stupid **** and watching people do stupid **** is that I was in control of the stupid **** happening. If I hurt myself then it was my own fault. I dont wanna put myself in a situation to injure other people or at the very least be injured by watching someone else do stupid ****

edit: is it injur or injure...both look wrong
