I was thinking the same thing..he got rid of it b/c you had a kid or something right? This owner only had it for a few months and managed to f' it up that much in that short a time...shame. At least you are fixing its issues. i never like keeping track of my old cars as i always find out the new owners always manage to destroy them...

correct i did sell it two months ago. alot came up at the time. then things changed, and i was looking for another one since i got my wife a daily family car with functioning ac, and i was in a position to do so. i happened to be on craigslist, and had thev6guy helping me look for another one. last ad i opened, boom theres my car for sale, i didnt even know it was up for sale. long story short, i am in a position now where i could afford to fix the issues it had. like i said, the only new issues are the door skin peeling away, which had started when i had it, the headers having collector issues (they had a ton of miles on them) and the glovebox broke because the latch would stick all the time. oh and the tinted front signals, that irritates me more than anything.

the kid had joined the army and he's leaving in 3 weeks, realized a) he couldnt fix it and b) he didnt really like it, he's into diesel trucks. it still ran the same as when i sold it to him. just alot dirtier, and horribly loud. best part is i originally gave it to him for a four door car and some cash on his end, and now he took my pickup which i had very little cash in for his girlfriend, and i got my car back.
