So who wants to cruise up the NW side of the state to go to the meet like we have in the past?

Dont have a set time. Fellow you know with white '97 z28 said he may join if he didn't go camping. Thinking late afternoon. 3-4 ish? Open for times. Will be working on 78, but may take 74 if 78 doesn't want to cooperate.

Is anyone leaving from the Hawthorne Bergen/Passaic area? I plan on riding a motorcycle up Rt.23 from Hawthorne leaving around 2 in the afternoon.

Larry, and Nick, I'll be game to meeting up somewhere and cruising up with you guys, only problem is both TAs are out for the count. The 88 is close but no cigar, the 84 well we can push it but wheres the fun in that? LOL.

What I usually do is this, from my house I pick up 517 near Lake Lenape, head to skytop, jump over to Lake Iliff road going past the police station, then run out to Pierce road, to Warbarsse Junction to the cutoff going past Bob's Machining to 15 to the Chatterbox.

Larry, I was joking about driving the 74 for ya but if you're willing, I'll do it. though while I daily drive a manual trans, its been awhile since I've driven a mechanical clutch car. Otherwise I'll have the Subaru, my brother may bring his Fiero up to the chatterbox later on in the day.

Havent thrown the towel in on the 78 yet. I'll see how it goes sat morning. May wind up taking 74 anyway. Have a fellow w/ an 80 bird meeting me at the shop and going up.

Nick - what would be a good time? 2 may be pushing it for me be we will see how the morning goes.

Chris - Dealer plate insur. legalities forbid non employees from driving it unless I am in the car. I do appreciate the offer to take it up though.

How about ~230 to head up from your shop? I would imagine we will be making it a quick ride. I really don't care which route we take so Chris and Larry, you can decide that. I have a couple other cars that would like to cruise up as well.

DRAT! Good point though. Last time I saw it I noticed the dealer plates in fact.... Wondered what was up with that.

Anyway, I would be backtracking to meet up with you guys with the daily, but seeing as it would be hard to just sit at the intersection near 517 and 206 in andover waiting, I'm game to meeting at the shop around 2:30. But I don't particularly care either about how we get up there. I think its round 15 minutes depending on lights and traffic from where I live to the Chatterbox. And I am a couple blocks from 517 in the Lake Lenape neighborhood.

I'll see what I do. But that sounds good to me. Theres a million good ways to get there. Thing about meeting up with a rolling join is it has to be timed right. I am open to either way. Simon Peter sporting store is a better place to meet, its right at the 603-206 junction. 206 is a disaster in Newton and Hampton on the weekends. I was just up there today, it was hell and its only Friday. So those who do that, will be frustrated.

Maybe I'll leave when you guys do to get to a place to join up, a fleet of F bodies will be my cue to join lol. Not like I've never been to your shop before, though the couple times I tried you weren't in. I'll have the 2000 Subaru Outback, or my brother's 2000 Subaru 2.5 RS, the outback is green and tan, the 2.5 is blue. I'll find a place to chill by the side of the road if I do the rolling join.

If you do bring the 74 maybe we can head over to the ball park parking lot and I can try it out lol.

Tell you what guys, if I'm not at the shop by 2:30 I'll be meeting up along the road somewhere. If you find a Subie following you, its me lol. I'll likely hang around by the sporting goods store at 603 and 206 if I'm not at your shop.
