torque converter

Hey guys before i go driving the car around much i wanna make shure of something. If the torque converter wasnt seated all the way into the pump i would of heard something strange when first fireing the car correct. thanks in advance.

If the converter is bolted to the flexplate, and the trans is bolted to block, it should be fully seated.

You didn't use the converter bolts to "pull" it together with the flexplate, did you?

ya if i did do that would of made the tq not latch onto the pump and in return when starting the car i would of heard some pretty ****ed up noises lol.
