it was only a matter of time...

ZZP got a cruze on the dyno... I haven't found any info on mods or numbers yet, but with what ZZP has done for supercharged 3.8 series II engines and such, i'm looking forward to see what they roll out with for the 1.4 Turbo engine.(yes i will mod, lol )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0mz9QSkW20

edit: mods are zzp intake, zzp 02 housing, exhaust cutout and Trifecta tune.

? a fwd car is slightly different than an awd car on a dyno.

I also just found that a tuning company has cracked the cruze and got 31% hp gains(+54hp) and 38% torque... on a completely stock vehicle.
Too bad people are saying HP tuners has no desire to work with the Cruze.

o2 housing is a short piece of pipe between the turbo and the downpipe, and it has the o2 sensor in it...probably a factory bottleneck

As far as I know they are still planning on an RS model. I think that's supposed to be more appearance than performance though.

RS model gets some gfx, wheels, and lower ride night. No power or performance over standard 1.4t.

Yes, the O2 elbow/housing can be a serious bottleneck on turbo cars. Lots of the Toyota turbo setups have a horrible cast housing that kills flow. It also holds extra heat at the turbo which helps kill them faster. That's one thing about turbo cars, you can do some basic mods to the inlet and outlet areas to help increase/smooth out flow and get some solid power/mpg increases.
