$6000 Firm for board members and friends of board members also no longer accepting trades
So I think I'm pretty serious about it now. I built up this car over the winter so I can drive it. It runs and drives great, but I don't really have any true reason for selling other than wanting the money, or wanting something different. I think we all know how that goes. After all the work i've done, i never really built that 'attachment' that many of us find towards our cars.
I put a lot of work into this car, swapping in an LT1 350 along with a 700r4. The 350 was totally rebuilt, with reciepts for everything. The short block was assembled by Raz Performance Machine, running a crane 227 cam along with speed pro forged pistons. The motor makes 10.8:1 compression, and uses B-body iron heads. It has been bored .030" and uses a stock crank which has been cut and balanced for the new pistons. It has also been decked, line honed, etc so the block is in great shape. I should also add that this car passed the sniffer test at a private inspection shop, and has the correct NJ inspection sticker. I did not buy a sticker for it.
The 700r4 is stock with about 130,000 miles, but it runs/shifts perfectly. No slipping. This car can chirp second gear and the transmission is stock. When I got it, I drained the fluid and it was red, unburnt. The fluid is bright red which is an indication the transmission is in good shape. The car also has a 4.10:1 gearset with a posi unit which came with the car when I got it.
I put over $3000 into this car, closer to $4000, and I've kept all my reciepts. I bought the car for $5500. The work to the car has also been documented via pictures. I'm not dead set on selling this car, since it will just sit, so I'm not looking to give it away.
I have compiled a list of modifications to the car, If I find I forgot anything I may update it.

$6000 Firm The car has 73000 miles on it. I should add that the car will come with many extras, including the original a/c compressor and evaporator, an unpainted fiberglass hood that needs a little work, and a few other little odds and ends. I was willing to accept a trade, but I bought a new truck so I will no longer be able to accept a trade unless its some type of screaming deal I would be able to flip and make money on.
So, heres some pictures.
