11.04 @ 122 - Stupid LT1!!

I'm so close to 10s...it's driving me nuts.

Went to Cecil County Raceway in MD on Friday night. Had good air (about 60-degrees at the time of the two runs I did make before getting booted for no cage) and okay track prep.

On Thursday, I finished the install of my Wolfe rear solid swaybar, which, IMO, is hands down the best suspension modification a drag racer could do. When properly adjusted, the car leaves straight as an arrow. Before, I had alot of left-hand pull while the car meandered down the track. That's a thing of the past. 60's tonight were 1.54 and 1.57 (best to date is a 1.52) respectively, spinning just a bit each time.

Someone else filmed the 11.04 run, so I'll post the vid of that once it's available. Here's a video of the second run of the night, an 11.11.

For those that don't know, the car is an AI heads/cam/383 + bolt-ons through a 4L60E and Ford 9". Still untuned (mail-order only) and still under-geared.

That's not till NEXT year.

Honestly just going to Atco should get me an extra tenth!

I have to agree. This really makes the car go up and out straight. IMO Cecil is a bit quicker that Atco. I'm usually a .10 quicker at Cecil.

It's a custom Performabuilt 4000, but will likely get pulled for a larger Yank.

Wolf makes a nice roll bar too. I don't have a cage just an 8 point roll bar with swing outs in my car. I'm good to run as quick as 10.0. I believe you only need a 5 point bar to run that fast.

Yeah, I have the 6-point Wolfe weld-in bar ready to go, just need to have it welded in.
