3rd gen HVAC controls

Are the Camaro and Firebird HVAC controls interchangeable? If they are, what color do the Camaro controls light up? To change the lighting color on the controls for the Firebird I have to have a new face plate made and I just thought about the Camaro one

Thanks for the input. I am more interested in taking the faceplate off and putting it on my HVAC control. The faceplate is actually multi-piece, there is the overlay, which is the design and orange color behind. The Firebird one lights up orange, but has 3 bulbs behind it and a diffuser to distribute the light. If the Camaro one doesn't work I may have found someone that can make a custom one.
