Rod bolts, cam retainer bolts and bucket o' ARP assembly lube arrived today so tmmr things should start to get dangerous.

However, no specs included with ARP rod bolts. Whatgivesbro.avi. I've seen before to go 40ft/lb-loosen-40ft/lbs-loosen and then a 3rd and final 40ft/lb torque. But I've also seen the same process with 45ft/lb. They are the 134-6006 bolts.

3 passes of 40 ft lbs and use the arp lube on both the bolt threads and under the head where it contacts the cap

I'd say more than loctite but don't go too crazy.

A tube of it per bolt is the recommended process

I'd go the diameter of the bolt head and taper it down like 30 thou.

The rod bolts are partial threaded ~20mm, you should have enough lube in the supplied packet to put a light coat on the full thread for all bolts

Yes YOLO and skip.

Why are you replacing rod bolts anyway?

I resized my rods when I swapped to ARP. It was $112 IIRC. I wouldn't skip it personally, it's better to be sure they are round and not distorted trying to remove the old ones or different torque spec/fastener stretch. That price included removing old bolts, checking/cleaning, and installing new bolts. Sure you could skip the step and it'll run, but eventually it'll probably wear the bearings out.
