Pioneer HU actually is pretty easy to use. I like everything about it! (except that it's blue and not red)... The best feature about it is that you can upload screen saver movies and pics that you download or make from AVI's and JPG's...

Hey man what model number is that? I'm in the process of getting a new setup and that's not bad looking. Is the whole thing black or is it silver like most of the other new ones? And where did the mounting kit come from? Is that for a third or fourth gen car?

judging by the HVAC controls, I'd say its a fourth gen.

Can you feel the love? And I don't know which of you was right because I'm talking about the install kit, not the head unit being for a 3rd or 4th gen. I don't believe that they are the same. I could be wrong though.

Anyway I'm still waiting for a response from Mike on it.

paul if your radio opening is 3inches tall then technically it should fit.

I'm pretty sure those won't fit, I think they bolt in differently on a thirdgen. I also don't think that trim would work with the stock thirdgen radio/HVAC trim.

im gonna say it WOULD fit in a 3rd gen. ive seen 4th gen radios in 3rd gens. hell, steve(tpi monte SS) has a 4th gen radio in his 88 monte. That mounting kit is the same size as a stock 1.5 DIN GM radio, 3rd or 4th gen(and many other gm vehicles) so think about it

Ok so where did he get it then? I'm in the process of redoing my entire interior before Power Tour so I need to order it ASAP.

yeah i saw that the 3rd gen is available... probably a slight difference, but i bet with a little work a 4th gen one would work, but now whats the point since a 3rd gen one is available...oh well...
