Should I replace my cam?
A rocker swap turned into ported heads, underdrive pulley, and new pushrods, lifters, and valvesprings. My question is, is it worth it to replace the cam at this point to something newer? The car currently has a TTP Equalizer v3, and I would probably go smaller if anything. The car isn't a daily driver, so I don't mind the reduced drivability, as a matter-of-fact, I like the top end urgency the car has.
Is there any advantage, to getting a smaller, custom spec'd cam? Is it difficult to degree a cam, because it seems everyone does that these days.
Someone make a damn decision for me so I can drive my car again.

Considering the use, I see no need for a custom cam. Why not call the maker of the cam you have and make sure it still meets your needs?

TTP is no more.
What are you planning on doing with the car?

I have the specs if you should need it for that cam.

New cam means new tune, which, could be a good thing if you can use it as an excuse to get the car dyno tuned etc.

Car is getting retuned anyway. The current tune is really horrid.
Using the car as just a weekend driver with occasional track days at most, if that's what you mean Bill. I just want to drive the car and have fun with it, I don't care for max hp or timeslips. I feel like a smaller cam might give me more drivability, but I don't want to lose that top end.
Fudge. I have no idea what I want to do. AI really worked these heads around my cam, but now that I realize it, swapping out the cam from all that I'm doing will take an hour at most extra. I could have milled my heads down more for higher compression. Dang.

Talk to ai and tell them as much as you can about your situation, parts, etc and they will say if its worth swapping it out. They might have something better performing with better driveability or they might say you have a good match now for what you want the car to do.

TSP torquer 2 cam is real nice. Just got done doing one in Carltons buddy Rich's car. I brought it to the dyno and cam just kept pulling all the way to the top and never dropped off or leveled. made 380hp w/ stock intake,tb etc.. on a mustang dyno.
pulled it to rev limiter (6800) if pulled higher would have seen 400.
if you pm Carlton, he can probly get you copy of dyno sheet

Yeah I'm going to. I emailed them regarding this, and all they really did was email me an invoice with "custom spec cam" on it. I guess I need to call them.
