WTB: Cheap TH-350 to rebuild
Looking for a GOOD, used TH-350 that can be rebuilt (that's what I plan to do).
Looking for local, or meet 1/2 way if possible.
Thanks.

It isn't blown up or 'trashed' internally, is it ?? I'd be interested in it....and any info on the converter ?
As far as the other postings above - are they 'mechanically sound' inside ?
I can't afford to buy one that I need to buy new hard parts for....rebuild kit yes, but more 'stock' parts, no....
Thanks.

Are you only looking for a trans to rebuild and use? I have a B&M TH350 I bought about 5 years ago. I had a lot of other problems with the car and never really got to use it. Ended up pulling the motor and trans and selling the body. The trans has at most 200 miles on it and has been sitting next to my tool box since I pulled it. Also have a 2800 stall converter that can go with it. If your interested let me know and we can work out a price.
If you want to build one I think my friend has one in his garage he wants to get rid of. I'll ask him about it and try to put it on here later today.

I have one sitting in the garage. It came out of running 1968 full size car so it should be fine internally. I also have the stock convertor that came with it. $75 for all the stuff, I think it even has the shift cable.

Tell you the truth, I think youre better off getting one that came from a running car like these other people have. The converter was built by them and I am pretty sure thats what went. It probably took out the whole trans, I would rather scrap it right now than take the risk of someone buying it and having more problems with it. That was why I came and bought that ST10 off of you two summers ago

Give wouldn't entail passing $50....lol.
I found out my wrench buddy in Philly has a leaky one in his garage that was in his one car....and it was working when pulled, so I'm going to take his off his hands for now....and maybe the one off Scott just so I have some extra hard parts on hand...
Thanks for the replies....

Thanks Josh.
I have some 'tech help' in the wings - one buddy is sending me specialty tools to do the job, the other is a master tech and knows these things inside and out, and he's offered me special help (online/on phone) as needed....plus I have some online stuff he already posted and someone else is sending me a DVD.....so I think other than taking the PLUNGE and of course making a mess everywhere....lol....I should be set. I appreciate the help from everyone.... You all rock....
