paintin my car in spring

can you guys give me some tips and a good primer to get and where to get it and a good place to get original gm black?

i will be painting it in one of those canopy garages with the sidewalls

any Dupont 2K primer, and bascially a gm black would be Dupont 99k black, prolly about 35 bucks a quart, have fun paintin black without a spray booth...haha

well if you think you can do it without a booth and make it look nice go right ahead black is a hard color although my uncle painted his 50 something olds in my gradfathers garage black laquer he had like ten or eleven coats of laquer that was one pretty car when he was done

well i got a carport and its gonna have a concrete floor and a fan in it so i should be fine got the walls and everything

im not painted the car im primering the car and painting the engine bay over then when i get everythign back together ill send it out to be painted.

theres actually just a couple of little tinny dents so that part should be pretty easy.
where do you guys buy your painting supplies at?
