4th Gen climate control

I'm not too knowledgable about 4th gens, but...does anyone know if the climate control unit on a 4th gen trans am will fit into the space for a 3rd gen/controls matching up? I just saw a picture of a 4th gen control w/o the faceplate over it, and it looks a hell of a lot better than the controls on a 3rd gen. And yes, I know..."If I wanted a 4th gen, i should have bought a 4th gen." Well, I have this, and I'm going to update it as much as possible. And the seats...will the seats all fir from a 4th gen in my 86 TA?

Not sure about the climate controls, but I know that the seats will fit fine.

for the climate control, if you could get the demensions of it (height, width, depth) that'd be great. Tru2chevy, the back seats fit in too?

Schweet! Well, in that case all i need is the specs on the climate control. And I reiterate my last post. hell, maybe ill get bored one day when i have a lot of money again (bored, probably. lots of money again, doubtful) and put in an LS1 and a T-56 and a 4th gen rear...basically a 4th gen TA in third gen disguise.

Squirell, are those sizes from what can be seen over the cover, or the actual sizes measured with the cover off?
