93 bird window

There is a metel plate thingy that bolts to the window on my car. On this plate thingy there is like a know sticking out with a wheel that goes up and down the rear track so the window can go up and down. Well that tap broke and i can move my window back and forth 6 inches or so while its down. If i can, where can i purchase this plate? Or do u think i could get it welded on?

Thanks,
Tim

not sure exactly what you are describing. sounds like the regulator possibly? i would check around junkyards or for someone parting out a car. if you can take a pic, i could definitely verify it.

I just took my old door apart, if you have a picture of exactly what you're talking about I probably have the part.

Never had any luck fixing them. I tried welding one and it just ripped apart again. They weren't that much money.
