Yea, he's asking about the factory carb on a '79 267 V8 in his Malibu. I think he heard somewhere else that it's only a 280ish CFM, but we thought that was pretty low. Can't find any real info about it.

He's planning on replacing it soon with a 4 bbl, but he just wants some info on it.

Well the 267 is gone, but now the stock intake and dualjet from the 267 are sitting on a 305. I know that's making matters much worse. The Malibu puts 108 hp to the wheels through a crappy metric 200 trans and a 2.41 rear....

when you do the swap you can measure the bore size and get a rough idea of peak flow. i can't find any lists that show 2brl rochester stuff anywhere.

I think he'd have a better shot racing you in his truck, that way you can run V6 vs V6.

I flipped through it already, didn't see anything at a glance. I'll let Tyler look and see if he can find anything.

I'll have to bring that to the meet next week and give it back to you. I don't have a need for it anymore, but it was some good reading.

Ok, I lied. I gave it to him to flip through, and he found a bunch of info about it.

Thanks John....
