Cmon guys, we all know that this bottom end isn't going to last long enough to wear anything down.

Wasnt that bad honestly. I was pretty nervous about tinkering with it but it was simple. biggest pain was getting the ferrells on the stock rod bolts out. 0 of 16 came out without trouble lol i would just slide the stock rod bolt back in enough that it grabbed on the ferrell but not enough to be threaded. Then a few yanks on the bolt using vice grips.

Coated full threading of bolt and a bit under each head.

40 seems not that tight, but i guess the leverage of a 24" Torque wrench just makes it seem that way.

With the engine being essentailly completed this week, ive composed a scratch list of what else ill be needing to finish the car. So if anyone has any of it for sale, or know of any good deals, post em up.

-Headers+ header gaskets + bolts (most likely going new 1 7/8th TSP race headers)

-Exhaust (may honestly just run catless Y to a bullet muffler and a dump)

-are FAST intake gaskets reusable? if not, FAST intake gaskets

-Throttle Postion Sensor and IAC

-Torque Converter (buying new)

-MAF to TB Boot + 3 to 5 pin MAF harness

-Engine to trans bolts

-Trans X member Bolts

-Battery + Cables (new)

-Power Steering pump pulley + lines

-Spark Plugs (obviously new, not sure which ones)

-Hardware for PCM mount

-Hardware for Lid/Rad cover

-Catch Can

-Front Coilovers

I dont think a puke tank set up will work.

I have the passenger Valve cover vented via filter in place of oil cap.

drive valve cover vented via filter off nipple.

and ls6 valley cover.

Oil Pump to block(x4)- 18ft lbs

Honestly i lucked out on this one, and i prob should have double checked the info. Would have saved me this headache.

Turns out the M6 bolt for the oil tube is not the same torque as the M8

-Fancy New oil pump with snapped off bolt inside

Lucky for me, it threads threw the bottom.

so after a few minutes of struggling with chubby hands and small pliers
