were the hell can i get one?

You'll have to find one used. And most people don't let them go cheap.

I may have one that was cut but could be rewelded and all. It would include posi, gears, axles and what not. Ill let you know though.

*EDIT* Come to think of it, I think its a Dana 60, would you still want it?

I got your PM once I get it back here and can take a good look at it I will let you know. The rear would need to be cut anyways. Its out of a 66 Charger Ill ask my father and see if he wants to sell it.

No torque arm mount on that rear then. You'd have to modify the rear suspension setup in order to use it.

u can put a tq arm mount onto a rear without one but it takes alot of work and a dam good welder.or i could do laderbars with coilovers.but thats a helluva lot more work and i dont think there would be a place for the coilovers with the stock gas tank in place

Yea, welding cast iron that thick would be a bitch, and you'd have to make sure that you didn't twist the housing at all in the process.

Okay as of right now nothing is going on with the Dana 60 but he doesnt want to get rid of it just yet. If anything comes of it I will let you know.

That still leaves the problem of not having a torque arm mount though. The Dana that Slow-Z and I have was designed to bolt into a 3rd gen, so it's already the correct length, and it has the torque arm bracket and LCA/shock/spring mounts all set in the proper place.

Any other Dana would require lots of modification to work with stock suspension.

the offroad shops custom build them to your specs ie like moser with a 12 bolt ect lemme if hes interested ill find out bout the torque arm mount and what companies to order from ect...

rich thanks but if i needed to i could build my own rear housing,if i end up building one it prolly be a 9 inch housing since that would be the easiest to mount a tq arm onto
