headunit that will interface with remote hard drive..??

As title says...looking for a single din head unit that will interface with a usb remote hard drive. I had a 6gb solid state remote hard drive and a 500gb disk drive that i bought to build a car pc...but scrap that, just want to do it the easy way. If anyone can help, or point me to a website/article/forum, thanks!

You would really need to check with the manufacturer of the headunit you are considering. For the most part any head unit with a USB port should work with a USB 2.0 device, should be plug and play.

I get that but i was just asking to see if anyone has personally done it. I may just grab an ipod and a compatible headunit because i am just tired of burning 100 cds all the time
