FU Chrysler

Chrysler is a buncha whores. My dads van (90 or something Town and Country) recently kept blowing fan fuses. Took it to our friend (family friend mechanic) and he said the fan motor is blown. Turns out Chrysler doesnt just sell the motor. You have to get the fan, shroud, everything. that plus 1 hr labor would be 500. I was just looking through Jegs and even for a massive 16" fan its only like 120.

Koll = CRAP!
So, that is the world of replacement parts.

All manufacturer's do it. They make parts more of a complete unit.... instead of many small parts for replacement.

Go to junkyard..... look there.

Not the blower motor...the fan motor. You know, the one that keeps the anti-freeze from boiling? :P

I had a problem when Dodge didn't want to do anything for me on my Dakota. The paint was flaking off like crazy. Every body shop told me this was a common Dodge problem with the gray and blue paints. The primer was not right and the paint would seperate. Dodge said it was not their primer it was environmental issues. It was not like the paint was faded out and milky. The paint that was coming off was like brand new and had a killer shine to it. They still didn’t care after I took pictures of it at 60k miles when I had to repaint the roof. The paint just peeled off like a banana. Last year I repainted the hood and front fenders and now the rest of the paint is going to crap. Nice truck, junk paint!
