Smile Bye Bye Stripes!

So, last Friday, I gave in to my thoughts since Day 1 when I purchased the car (May of last year). I removed the hood stripes on Friday, the spoiler upper stripes on Saturday. I need to remove the spoiler lower stripes, and hatch stripes when I have some free time.

Your car looks great.

The Dodge Dakota with Grand Sport stripes should burn.

Thank ya fella's! The Dakota is an R/T, 5.9L 360 motor. It's not too shabby for a pickup.

Stripes WILL be back, just not white. I'm going for either darker blue, darker red, or matte black. I'm thinking matte black at the moment would look best. I have the other TA to get up and running now first..

Here are my two purdy cars side by side (dirty though) - cell phone shots:

I took a few shots with my D2x and 70-300 VR just a few seconds ago, but both cars are dirty so I make no promises on how nice it looks :P

Personally, I'm glad those stripes are gone, the stripes on the spoiler and hatch did not match the hood design. Looks much cleaner now IMO. Good job!

I'll be doing a matte black manta on my car soon. The guy who did my clear bra is doing it.

So I'm biased to matte black stripes
