Exclamation Supercharger....

I found a vortech supercharger for an 88-92 f-body tpi....I was wondering if it would fit on my 86 TPI....or if someone out their makes a kit for an 86....lemme know....I need more power!!!!

it SHOULD fit as long as you swap the engine belt drive to a serpentine system. 87 was the last of the 2 or 3 v-belts, and 88 began the single serpentine belt.

I can swap it over on an older block? And if so...is it going to be difficult?

you should be able to put the serp belt drive on a pre-88 block. the 87 still had the v belt and are the basically the same heads as 88-92. and 86-92 had the same block. you'll also have the change the water pump(reverse rotation) and move the alt and a/c compressor to opposite sides. It can get a little involved with swapping locations and extending wires and changing a/c lines but its possible. and hey, if you want to sell the supercharger, just let me know, lol.
