$400 and a trophy!!!!
Thanks to Nick* (AntiRiceGuy) for making fun of me to get me to come out today. My Nova is still in the garage waiting for new slicks, so I took out my trusty Silverado! 16.30 isnt fast but it was my favorite number today. I won the Import vs Domestic Street Wars Street Stock eliminator bracket and took home a nice chunk of change.
* although he is partially responsible for my winings, he is not entitled to any!!
I am not bragging, I just wanted to share the excitement.

Haha that's great Matt, congrats on the Wins! I used to go to Imports vs. Domestics back in HS it was pretty fun until I realized how badly I was getting ripped off watching every civic spill its guts on the track.

Where there that few imports compared to domestics or did they just all get trailered that early in the going?

Thanks guys.
There were actually more imports than domestic in the first round! Going into the 2nd rd it was something like 35 domestic 9 import! In rd 4 there were only three left and I got to take one of them out. After the first three races of rd 4, there were only domestic cars left.

competition is kinda stupid considering imports always get their butts handed to them on the strip lol

Ahhh can't you just feel the love?
And there were plenty of quick imports, they were just more inconsistent drivers this time. Or they broke.

More of the import crowd still rely on manual transmissions. Much harder to be consistent.

As a ratio of stick cars to stick cars who screwed up, imports did worse by farrrr....There were some stick domestics, they just didn't screw up nearly as much or as badly as a whole.
