Thanks Everyone

i just wanted to say thanks to everyone who is checking out the site and all who have joined up.
if you like what you see here please take the time to let your friends know about us or slide the link into your signiture on other sites.
this site is being run a bit differently than a lot of others that we have all belonged to before. we do not care if you have been into cars for decades or are just about to get your first one, or if you don't own an f-body at all.
it is all about the enthusiasts and the fun we have together. we want to hear your feedback and concerns regularly. please feel free to pm or email the admins with any ideas you have for gatherings, the site, or the club in general.

once again, thankyou for giving us a shot and supporting the hobby.

later

I think I am the first girl on the site. Brother is soon to join. Pictures posted later, although I won't be one of the Fbody crowd, at least I won't be a ricer.

they do have an ls1 swap kit for fieros, it's shoehorned in there, but it's fantastic. it's kind of in my fiero fantasy world wishlist right now. "go as fast as your wallet will let you" and my wallet is giving me the speed limit, and no more. maybe someday there'll be an ls1... or a northstar... when I become rich and famous.... yeah right.

wouldn't a northstar be a tougher fit than an ls1?

Nope, they are even smaller than an LS1.

northstars are also DOHC. the mustang engine is a 4.6 also, but the ls1 is smaller in terms of both dimensions and weight

edit: sorry i'm hijacking your thread, this site is great so far!

teh northstar is shorter but wider than the LS1. it still fits pretty good though, takes up the entire engine compartment

you live in new jersey, your only safe bet is that there will be weather, what it will be from day to day is anyones guess.

glad to see you jumped on board. we are still getting things up to speed around here, but we are totally impressed with the initial feedback.
hopefully everyone will tell their friends and include teh site in all their sigs on other boards. once the word is out we can plan and do pretty much anything.

Northstar is a tad bit heavier then the LS1 as well, even with all the cams. Its a lot lighter then the Cobra's aluminum DOHC 4.6. The Northstar engine can be made to be a very powerful motor.
Would make for a great swap into a hot rod.. 8)
