solid motor mounts

Has any one used UMI solid mounts? Or know of any other solid mounts that are good?

Solid mounts are ok but unless the car is going to be a serious track car I would just replace the rubber ones with a set of polyurethane ones.

Yeah, I wouldnt run solid mounts on a street car. if you're worried that you're gonna break a mount, just get a torque strap.

I have solids in the Chevelle, after I twisted my set of poly mounts up, and I cant complain. I really didnt notice much of a difference.

solid mounts aren't much different from poly for general riding around, they jsut last a lot longer.
competition engineering makes them, not sure how the price compares to the UMI ones though. a solid mount is a solid mount really, so jsut get the ones you can find the best price on.
