Shocks and SUbframe

I am looking at getting new shocks and sub frame connector. I saw a pretty good deal on ebay for a grantanelli, i think they are called, 2 point sub frame connector. Any feedback from them? I am not looking to make my car a 700 hp beast, may add a cam setup in the future but that is about it. Also I was debating over the bilstein hd shocks, the kyb adjustable shocks, or the kyb gas adjust ones. Any clue as to what would be better for me? The car is not a dd but it is not a race car either. More of a weekend street cruiser type. Any help is appreciated.

I would get a set of two point UMI SFCs. If you can get em welded in get that version, if not, get the bolt on ones.

As for shocks, what kind of racing did you have in mind?

Strange shocks might be too race for him. I would go with a set of standard replacemetn shocks from Monroe, Gabriel, KYB.
I did a search on the KYB AGX's, and Ive heard good and bad. I put Bilstiens on my 87, and love them. Nothing to adjust, just great performance all the time.

Well what are you looking for?

I got a pair of rear summit three way adjustable shocks for 70 shipped and they have stiffened the rear riding qualities quite substantially. I would say they are mostly for drag racing though, not sure how autoX guys setup their suspensions.

The white shocks? Pass. Valving is all wrong on most cars, and they wear out fast from what I remember.

Monroe offers several shock lines, from the fairly crappy Monroe Matics, up to the Sensa-Tracs, which are a pretty nice shock for the money.
