Thoughts on UMI TQ arm Relocation kits

http://www.umiperformance.com/catalo...roducts_id=201

Just found these and thought that looks cool. I know of the Body mount tq arms but this kit still uses your stock style tq arm and moves it off the tranny! Are there any benifits from moving the TQ arm further back ,like the body mount tq arms, were they are mounted to the tunnel brace (I believe) then to just take my edelbrock tq arm and get this kit that mounts it off the tranny in the same area?

yes, just getting the TQ arm off the tailsahft of the trans will be a great benefit. Since you already have the edelbrock one, that relo kit will be fine.

a shorter torque arm is less likely to flex but unless you're making a track car youll be just fine with the relocation kit
