Exhaust Question...

So I was looking on another fourm and I came across this...

"I have a slp loud mouth 1 cat back system it came off a 94 lt1 camaro still in great shape i bought it for my 92 camaro but i decided i want a true dual system on the car"

i'm looking a third gen so I was searching for an exhaust...would that even work?

Yes, 3rd and 4th gen exhaust systems are basically the same in design. Hangers are different, and there are changes based on year / setup in how the y pipe connects to the x pipe.

I had a loud mouth 1 from an lt1 adapted to my old 90 formula. A modified intermediate was the main piece needed to make it all work. It sounded good for a month then I got tired of it.

If you can get a 4th gen catback for a good price and you or someone you know can do some exhaust work, then grab it.
