Arrow FS/FT (For a Bike): My 93 Camaro Z28 - w/ GPS & t-top kit - SOLD

*********************CAR IS SOLD*********************

Price: $4000 EDIT: $3500 EDIT AGAIN: $3250 obo

Description:
First, the bad: Speedo gear needs to be replaced with proper teeth – speedo is not accurate due to this. Miles are actually higher as well due to this. Wipers don’t work perfect, but they do wipe in front of driver and 1/2 in front of passenger. I think it needs a new spring. Headliner removed to prepare for T-top conversion. I think it actually looks good how it is, but the headliner (which is sagging) is in my basement if you want it. Driver side rear wheel is leaking air. Slight coolant leak as well, coming from a radiator hose.

Here are the specs/info:

Make: Chevy
Model: Camaro Z28

Tires: 275/40R17 rear & 245/40R17 front Sumitomo HTR Z's with low miles – rears are newer than fronts (Just purchased new front driver side 12/1/08 - less than 100 miles on it)
Paint: Hood and rear hatch are showing some signs of oxidization, rear spoiler needs paint (it’s new), rear “Berger Panel” is flat black in the Berger style.
Suspension: Factory
Fact Equipment / Accessories: Cruise, tilt wheel, power door locks, windows, power driver seat, cold AC, SLP Performance Camaro SS spoiler (Will include factory spoiler if requested), rear smoked side markers, Hella 90mm projector modules (low beams) & Hella 90mm Free Form modules (high beams), Hella custom 12 gauge headlight wiring harness with relays and fuses, 5000K H9 HID kit with ballasts, ignitors, etc. Plug and play, no splicing was required, 160* thermostat, white face gauges, SLP Loudmouth Dual Exhaust with single 3" tips, Stainless Works 3" Y pipe, Moroso Cold Air Intake, Trick Flow air intake elbow, Parrot Rhythm n'Blue Bluetooth headunit, Rockford speakers, tuned at JS Performance in Hulmeville, PA, alarm system has multiple functions (normal mode, and an adjustable sensitive mode where certain vibration amount makes the alarm chirp or sets it off). I just purchased a new GPS, so I no longer need my old one. There's a 3M double sided tape mount in the Camaro on the dash. If I work out a deal with someone by Friday the 20th of this month, I'll throw in the GPS! It was originally a $1200 GPS when I purchased it a few years ago. It gives a big speed readout so you always know how fast you're going! Not to mention finding destinations, and tons of Points of Interest's on the way!

It's a Garmin Street Pilot 2620.

I will throw in all the parts needed for the t-top conversion. T-tops, weather stripping, hardware, etc. Only thing I don't have is the t-top headliner.

KBB is $3500, and I'll take $3250 for it. I am only selling it due to wanting to purchase a motorcycle & needing to consolidate my vehicles to fit into one space in my parking lot. I will consider trades for 90's/00's era Suzuki SV650's, Honda Hawk's, or Honda Nighthawk's in that order, plus cash or even trade depending on the condition of the bike.

Ex g/f not included with the car.

There's a similar nick on the rear bumper cover, above the tailpipe. Car came with all those unfortunately It's got the typical scratches and such, that's why a new paint job would be nice, but it wasn't too big a deal for me. And thanks. It's been to Brick and PPB many a time

Ah, you bought it?! I loved that little truck.. my ex basically talked me into selling it for a Camaro.. otherwise I never would've let it go.

Yea, wasn't exactly running that great when I got it.(It only has like 60 more miles on it since when you bought it). Do you still have contact with the guy who sold you the truck? I did some research before I bought it and it seemed like you didn't really know what parts are actually in the motor(cam, heads, and intake). I'd really like to find out for myself.

Anyway, I just put a new stereo system in the truck today, and will be redoing the ignition system tomorrow. The truck will be turn-key ready to go. I really don't have a need for it, just picked it up as a little project. It is fun though.

Any interest in the trade back for your old baby?

Yah the previous owner was a co-worker of mine at a Jeep dealership. They closed down due to the whole Chrysler resizing crap. I can see if I can find him/where he is to get more info about the part. All of those parts were installed before I bought the truck. Only thing I really did the FIPK and NX kit. But it's been a while so I don't remember everything. Enjoy it while you have it!

And nah, I do miss it, but at the same time, I really want a bike again. I was out for 6 hours and 100+ miles a couple weeks ago. I got bit HARD by that bug again.

I really want a bike too and that is the absolute only reason it's being sold. I love this thing and what it sounds like! I don't think it leaks any oil, just the little coolant leak I listed in the post. I noticed a slight vibe around 90 MPH when I took it out on Weds :-X I'd say to get an alignment just 'cause of the new tires being on there.

FWIW: Here's the pricing of the headlight system:
-Hella 90mm Projector lows - $125
-Hella 90mm Free Form highs - $125
-Blazer fogs - $55
-H9 5000K HID kit - $150
-Hella Custom wiring harness - $100
-Heavy duty foglight wiring harness - $50

So that's more than $600 into the lighting alone, which to me, is the first mod I do with ANY vehicle. I like to see.

FWIW: I have people coming to check it out this weekend and it may be sold by early next week. I've told everyone though, first cash in hand gets it.

Haha that's so funny! Being a Jeep owner for 5 years now and a former (soon to be current) bike owner, I do the wave thing a lot with the vehicles I own. It definitely is a great community type thing that I enjoy doing. You f-body people need to do it more often!

No problem man. Enjoy it. I am reallllly going to miss it. All my friends and co-workers are saying I'll have another one by winter. lol. Let me know what you think when you get on it. Be careful 'cause it's got so much torque the wheels like to get out from under you. Make sure to stomp it all the way too :-X

Next time I head up there I'll bring my clubs and we should definitely hit that range. I saw the one in Brick/Lakewood 3 weeks ago and I really want to check it out. I think it's on 70 if I recall correctly.

I am always up to hit the range or the links. I will let you know when I open her up. Hopefully later today after the dmv. Oh and I put my stereo in yesterday with the help of sweetbmxrider and a12 pack. Got the job done and it sounds nice.

Sounds good man. Too bad I can't put my bag on the back of my bike haha. I guess I can deal with having the Wrangler down there. Did you get a chance to give it some gas yet?

And that's awesome. I have some crap ass speakers in my Wrangler, but putting some Boston Acoustic and Kicker speakers in this week. It'll be nice to hear real SQ again!
