LT1 Jet Hot Headers

Anyone here ever use Jet-Hot brand longtubes on a LT1? Im bouncing back and forth between those, eBay stainless and LPP's. Pending the sale of my jimmy i could afford either ones. Not only am i looking for better lasting and performance but I am also concerned with fitment. I know any longtube install on a LT1 is gonna be a PITA but id like to avoid moving BFH modding, K-Member grinding, steering linkage movement, etc.

Any advice would be awesome thanks.

I ran them for 6 years. I had to grind the snot out of the transmission cross member and actually ended up cutting some of it away. Not to mention the y-pipe didn't fit too well (I had to bash that also). The 3-bolt flanges sucked too, sucking up ground clearance.

Since then I've upgraded to the LPPs and they literally dropped right in with no problems.

Did you use the first batch or the "new" batch that he talks about on his site?

I love having Mid length. No issues with rubbing or fitting and they make pretty good power. Pretty much everybody I know who has a set of longtubes has to modify something to get them to fit or they hit and rub on something under the car.
