Aside from weight,

One alternator mount hole has to be drilled and tapped on iron block. M10x1.5 thread I beleive. The middle hole has no provision on iron block, but thats just to keep the bracket there when changing alternators.

One ground bolt near starter does not exist so you put ground somehere else.

Everything else swaps over. If you reluctor wheel is 2 piece its 24 tooth. If one piece its 57 or whatever. Me and anther member just did a 6.0 swap l

Hes talking about a Gen III LQ4. We swapped an LQ4 into my 98 and thats what had to be done. The first series of the iron block motors had spacers built into the end of the crank for the flywheel, they will not bolt up to a 4l60e or T56. You need an '01-06 motor. The earlier ones had iron heads anyway, if you see an iron headed one, dont even bother.
