Black Interiors for Trans Ams

I searched through ebay for a complete or near complete set of black interior plastics for a late third gen TA. One of the sellers has a "graphite gray" interior set and said there were no black interiors - all of the center consoles and dashes (not dash pads) were graphite gray and not black.

I suppose the obvious question is - is this true? If there were black interiors, were they only available on specific models or model years?

from all i know, all 85-92 had the same graphite grey dash bezels and consoles, 82-84 were a different style and did come in black i believe.

I just saw a bunch of ebony colored seats and panels on ebay..that should be a color from the LS1 SS for interiors..

Yeah my 97 had a black ebony interior. I was curious about the third gens though - specifically the 87+ years. Seems only graphite grey was available.

I just wonder if the dark gray dash and console would look ok with ebony carpets, seats and headliner.
