Gauges Installed - Thanks to Injuneer....
Finally go my formula down on ground and took her out for the maiden voyage after a rocker arm failed which lead me down a long and winding road. Anyway, one of the upgrades I made was to install a real water temp gauge and oil temperature gauge. I used autometer full sweep electric gauges (sweet pieces) and mounted them in the center a/c vents (per the Injuneer's web site and write up)...couldn't be happier. Looks clean, they fit like a glove and at night they totally match the color of the other gauges if you use the red bulb (I bought the red LED replacement bulb from autometer) or the red bootie would probably do the same....
Thanks again to the Injuneer, a painless install.
As a side note, he factory water temp gauge is worthless, we all know its really an idiot light, but didn't break 185 last night cruising up and down route 33 checking the Wendy's, sloan ave. taco bell, blasting up and down 295. If it clears up today I'm going to northeast philly tonight.....fun times lie ahead...

sure.....if he wants to donate to the cause I'll take a full sweep electric Fuel Pressure gauge 0-100 psi.....then I'd have to find a way to create center a/c duct out the top of the dash, probably not that hard really...

Cool news. I remember seeing your car in many pieces a last year.
See Billy, that is as bad as my car in pieces because of a bad clutch.
Of course, his car is now on the road and faster.....

I have a two guage pod on my console with oil temp and pressure. I like to monitor both as heat can really thin the oil. Since my supercharger is not self contained and is feed by my oiling system. Once the oil temp gets over 170 I do see a slight drop in oil pressure at idle. During the summer the oil gets to 190-200 degrees. This is with an oil cooler + Canton pan = 7.5 quarts of oil.
