Im not going to be mean, but all I keep seeing is Ill try, I might, etc.......This is why the south is a weak section of jersey compared to central or north, no one can confirm.

Please guys, I'm really hoping this works out for us, cause I hate to have all this hype, and in the end fizzle out..

The south is more spread out then the other sections of NJ. The population is more dense up North then it is in the south outside of Camden and Burlington counties.. Its easier for everyone to meetup in the North because meets can be setup based on were the majority of the people live. I dont know were Galloway NJ is but I bet its a good drive for me who lives in Blackwood. I live right off the 42/AC exspessway and its still about and HR drive for me to get to AC going down the pike.

You gotta think of the time of year. It's getting colder so not many people are inclined to come out for a night photo meet. I'm all for meeting up but working a 12 hr shift on 5 hrs or less of sleep just plain sucks. I remember an in-prompt-to south meet I organized with 1_hot_SOM at the hammonton applebees a few years ago that was one of the highest attendance a south meet has been. That was on a saturday though around noon. You just gotta be patient jeff. Only thing you can do is set it up and hope people can show then make it great even if only 5 cars show. You can't make people show up.......well maybe if this was russia lol. You know what I mean.

I understand, but alot of meetups usually are in your neck of the woods ( williamstown/camden county) Which even though those meets arent as frequent, they are far more then what happens in the Atlantic county area. I'd hate for this to turn out to looking like an ass being the only one sitting in the mall parking lot and no one showing, or just having onne or two other peopel showing up, and and looking like another bland ass photo shoot the Jersey Shore section posts up all the time.

Yeah that was a direct zing at the Central Fist Pumpers.

I'll try to be patient, but my A.D.D. says differently . I'd just like a couple more definites, thats all

I see your point. Well you know me, Ron, and Kelsey would probably be there if I didn't have to get up early, if Ron didn't already have plans, and she needs a clutch after killing it at atco tuesday.

I think the last NJFBOA Meet in Williamstown area was the Nifty Fifties meet last year. We had a great turnout at the Texas Roadhouse in Milleville and a good turnout at the Chickies and Petes in Hammonton earlier this year as a NJFBOA club. As a south region alone we had a couple Tony Luke Cheese steak meets that we had 4-5 cars and a couple of photo shoots and cruised over to the Hooters meet in Bensalem. There are meets every Friday at Fudds that usually have 5-10 Fbodies there and then there is a meet every Tuesday in Mooristown that has around 5 Fbodies there usually as well. I would have been down for this meet as well but we are spending the weekend down in Williamsburg/ VA beach area that weekend. Have to start using our timeshare before the points expire. Dont get discuraged. Take some good pics with the Boardwalk Empire behind you and post them up on here afterward as well as LS1tech. Then next time more people will want to roll out for a casino photoshoot as well..

You also have to realize that some of us work and dont get our schedual until the week of.
South jersey section is weak? some of us members are out at meets every week we just dont post about it on the forums, we deal with it over text and facebook, and if IIRC, you posted up a bunch of Ill be out to the thursday meet and never showed or couldnt show.
Slow-V6, Wolfblitz, PhoenixLT1 and I are normally out at a meet somewhere together atleast once a week when its nice out. Just because we dont post up about meets that then turn into a 23 page thread about senseless crap like JSFBOA dosent mean that south section is week.
Also think about the time of year meets and fourm activity are winding down, ita a busy time of year and it starting to get cold.

hell I wouldnt even mind a Philly photo shoot, using ben franklin as a back drop, so many places to use, but A.C. hasent been tapped yet, and I htink there may be some potential with it as a backround. Im hoping this can start further photo shoots, bring us closer as a section, and give us an opportunity to meet new members, make new members, and possibly interact with other car clubs in the south (giving they are not a punk ass street racing group, but ones that have a perception of enjoying this hooby properly)

I understand This isnt the best of days to go considering the time of year and day, but I was expecting everyone to be free on a saturday night. I'll be patient, and only hope things can turn around and we pick up a few more people to do this.

edit: Thats why I gave you guys 2 weeks in adavance incase you wanted to see what your scedule looked like, if you wanted to adjust your schedule to do this meet, or to just say yes or no, if you don't find out the week of, then give your work notice ahead of time so they may adjust it if you want it to be. Ive only said I would commit to maybe 2 meets and at the last second decline to go, I havent been to a meet in two year or so, so no snese in me putting my name on the list knowing I'm not coming. other then that, Ive made it to all he meets I said I would go, even drove all the way up to the Chatterbox for that meet, which was well worth it.

.
The Bridge would be nice to have as a backdrop. There is a parking garage across from the Battleship NJ that if we do a shoot on the roof level with the bridge, Battleship, and skyline in the backround would be nice. If I remember the parking is Free in that garage. There is also a cool alley next to the Comcast center in center city that would be a cool place to do a photo shoot. You can get the cars between skyscrapers and what not.. There is the old Revolution Fort next to the Airport in Philly, The stadiums, Eastern State Prison, ect.. You are right that the AC shoot is a very cool shoot idea.

Doing the speed limit or close to it It takes me about an HR to make it to AC on the Black Horse pike. I dont know how fast you drive but I live about 15 miles from the Wells Fargo center and it takes us about 20-30mins to get to a Sixers game Doing 60-65mph when we can.

It took you how long to figure out that I have a 2002 T/A, 95 Firehawk and use to have a 98 Firebird? You are an astute observer!!

we don't whine, we just do it. i'd rather just take pics of one car then 5+. it becomes difficult to keep up with them and there's only so many different things you can do with a group of cars that looks good to me. hell, when we took the ride up to brian's to work on his car, i brought my camera along and snapped some pics. sometimes they work out sometimes they don't.

i've been trying to do motion shots lately, they are pretty neat to me

Sweet, does your car naturally sit like that, or were you accelerating, cause if that's how it normally sits, time for a 4x4 de-mod. It's not just the photo taking, its just a way to try and bring the south area ( most notably the Atlantic county area)
