LS1 Dakota R/T breaks into the 11's with bolt ons

Bolt on pass--> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya64l...2&feature=plcp

Nitrous---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BDYB...1&feature=plcp

My friend Donald and I Went to Atco Raceway yesterday morning. He wanted to get an 11sec pass with bolt ons before spraying it. Had some minor traction issues (later found some cord showing in his slicks lol) But managed to get into the 11's on a 1.72 60'.

swapped plugs and then we sprayed it. he cut a 1.71 60' and the nitrous activated and away he went. 11.20 @ 118mph, running out of gear. If the converter locked, he wouldve been alright because that wouldve free'd up 10mph in 3rd gear. Needless to say, we will be installing a manual lockup switch so we dont have that issue again. Once we get new tires and install the lockup switch, I believe he could quite possibly go 11.79 with bolt ons and 10.9's on the 150 shot
