Event Review: Auto Mania

Took a little ride up to the Allentown Fairgrounds with cbrrmike to the 2009 Auto Mania Swap meet. Overall, gotta say it was a nice little show.

Auto Mania is held in Agricultural Hall at the Allentown Fairgrounds and is restricted to only automotive vendors. So even though it was a small swap meet, it wasn't cluttered up with beanie babies and other such crap.

It seemed like more of the parts were aimed at antique and hard to find, so there was some pricey stuff mixed in to the usual swap meet parts. It also seemed like a pretty high percentage of the sellers were professionals.

Didn't bring anything home, but as Mike said on the ride back, it was a nice way to spend a lazy Saturday in the middle of January.

The last day of the show is tomorrow if anything is looking for something to do before the football games start. Check out www.automaniashows.com for directions and details.
