would you buy a fifth generation Camaro if...
it looked like this? (sharpshooter)
how about this? (evoks)
this one? (keegan)
it looked like this one? (horton)
like this? (jg95z28)
nothing like a little daydreaming...
[edit: webshots. pffff!]
so, would ya?

i like the first (gto based) and the second last taillight set a lot. The last one is a red x by the way.
whether or not i'd buy it would depend on a lot of other factors

I would defenitly go for the Evoks
The Keegan is just a chop off the prototype ZL-1 Super Camaro
And the Horton is defenitly kick ass.
If the 5th gen came out like any of those three, I would but it (If I could afford it)

Evok's design is based of insider info, but the nose seems to be the only thing off. Sharpshooters is also off insider info.

# 1 (sharpshooter) and #2 (evoks) are the best looking.
Sharpshooter's is kinda GTO-ish, but more muscular. the headlights need a little re-styling.
Evoks looks kinda like the new Mustang to me. the lines are just wrong for a camaro.
Keegan's is a fugly 'chop.
Horton's green concept is not the better-looking of his two concepts. Show the yellow/black one instead, and I'd like it better.
JG95Z28's is one of the most half-assed concepts i've seen. it's a decent 'chop, but it's ugly as sin. the headlights came off of a chevy truck, the lines of the car don't match, and the rear end looks like it came off a cadillac or something.
The last one doesn't look too bad, but i'd change the taillights.

Actualy JG's chop, though not as smooth, was something that we over at CZ28 came up with.
We brought up the idea that GM usualy shows future design in its concepts.
First comes to mind is the SS concept. Next was the far less known 99 Nomad concpet (not the Kappa one of last years) which was based off the Fbody chassis.
It is said that the front end of the Nomad combined with the back half of the SS will be. Not exactly what I had in mind, but its an idea. I dont think we will be seeing a front end like that on any car soon.

id have to say that, out of all of them, evoks is the best looking. horton just reminds me of an SSR (Thats a bad thing) . But I'd have to wait and see whats in them, because although evok looks the best out of the pictures shown, none of them seem to have the same heart that was put in gens 1-3. 4th gens are alright, but they dont hit me as hard. first time i saw a third gen, I knew what love felt like.

i think it's interesting how two people, given the same information, like the body lines of a gto, headlights from the SSR, tail lights from..., can come up with two completely different looking cars.

Eh - not ugly, but I wouldn't want the next Camaro to look like it.

fact is, if there was a camaro coming out right now, it probably wouldn't be a far cry from the new cobalt SS.
it would definitely be larger scale, maybe with a more subdued wing and more muscular lines, but this is basically chevy corvporate styling as of late. I don't think people should expect to see something heavily retro or particularly exciting looking. They wouldn't want love it or hate it styling, like the 4th gen since they didn't sell for ****.
