my 97 Z28 "396 lt1 stroker"

Hey everyone I'm fairly new to this site, been a member of ls1tech, and ls1lt1, for just about a year now. Though I was glad to find this site and thanks to some of my buddies who own f-body's at the PD we work at. So can anyone help me with dyno testing....I'm in the process of putting a lt1 396 stroker in my 97 Z28, and once it's complete I want to get it on a dyno and fine tune the car. Does anyone know of someone who is from the Toms River / Brick / Point Pleasant area that I can get this car on the dyno, once the motor is complete.

Welcome and nice car. Myself and another member are going for a dyno tune with Bryan Herter from pcmforless.com on October 6th. If you are interested, let me know. He would set you up with a mail order tune to get the car running and driving then fine tune it on the dyno. I haven't found anyone local to tune lt1's though.

Thanks everyone for the complements on my Z. It has been a process that has been going on for the past three years. To name some of the modifications done to it are a full wings west body kit, rksport 5'' lip rear spoiler, ss glass hood. 275/35/18 on 18x9.5 zo6 front wheels and tires. 295/35/18 on 18x10.5 zo6 wheels and tires. BGgoodrich g force kdws-2 and BMR lowering springs with koni 4x4 shocks. BMR control arms, sway bars, pan hard bar, torque arm, torque relocation bracet, and strut tower brace (going on after motor is put in). I will list all parts on motor later. About 3 months from now strange 12 bolt rear going in.
