Delete EGR= Still pass NJ inspection???

Hi- Just curious if anyone has an LSx and has deleted their EGR and with the code turned off, are you still able to pass NJ inpsection?

I read somewhere that PA inspection can detect this and you'll fail. I definitely don't want to run into that problem here in NJ.

Thanks,
Troy

with the current equipment, you will pass no problem. not sure if the new stuff will be able to "detect" this but i highly doubt that.

Social Networks:

They are plug in, but they still have the once over for safety and to make sure things are all there, but they are mainly looking for the quick failures there like brakes, susp., fuel leak. . . **** like that

just make sure it is being tuned out and not just clearing the check engine light because that will be a quick fail, without the monitors being reset.
