Do yourself a favor and DON't go to TTP.
If you love your car - go somewhere else.
I'm trying to get the name of the place on 23 North in Wayne...

ttp is a nice shop, they do great work and they definitly have a well respected name. But in my opinion, i think they dont like fbodys or sumthin, or just ignorant about v8's. Seems like when i roll in there its like the're doing me a favor. I've brought in my friend's 3rd and 4.2gen, with the same result.

I'm over off broad street between allwood and van houten.

i was jsut there on saturday, tons of f-bodies inside and out. they are a busy shop and there is always the chance that some people have been lucky enough to deal with a staff member or two when they were having bad days.
TTP has gone through a lot of big changes in the last few months. several new staff members with tons of experience have been added along with a bunch of new equipment and new services being offered.
if you have not had the opportunity to visit or deal with the crew at TTP for a while i suggest you check them out again. they have a lot of very positive things going on up there.

What year were the cars? I don't think they deal with tuning the chip cars?
I actually missed my dyno session on the club day, and Matt was very gracious about letting me come down a different day and still only charged me the special rate. I even offered to pay any difference and be just laughted at me and said not to worry about it! He even went as far as to go over all my reading with me, and when the car developed an oil leak during the 2nd pull offered up tools and such! Now I do all my own work and deal with a different tuner. But that was first rate service in my eyes, specially since that was the first time I was ever there.

Transm: Haven't seen you a long time. Stop by my new shop. We did some dealings in the past, I'll take care of the speedo change at no charge.

MDRNMSCL: What did we ever do to you? Last time you came by the shop you were complaining about the suspension we installed is making a noise, then it turned out to be your door making the noise and I didnt charge you a dime for the diagnosis...

Yes we hate fbodies & know completely nothing about v8s. I dont own a fbody. Hell what is an fbody? I have a b16r9three7 honda motor in my honda with a fake camaro body around it. Oops, I got caught.
It just annoys me a little bit because I try to bend over backwards for anyone that comes here. Then instead of approaching us as to why they did not like the service, they come and cry on the message boards. Oh well, weeds the good people out from the people we don't want to deal with. We have a lot of fun doing our job and it disappoints the entire TTP staff when we see this on a message board
On a nicer note, the new JMR bender is en route along with the wilton cold saw, wilton combination disc/belt sander, jet shear/brake/roll. So let's get some nice projects going

These are the comments my guys love to see
And any other positive comments that I did not quote don't string me up. We really do appreciate all positive feedback. We pour our hearts into every car and when we start that key for the first time we are damn happy.

Thats any business man, take it from someone that has opened up a few for family, friends etc., someone will always find something wrong w/ what you do. Especially in the automotive repair/performance arena, there's alot of scumbags out there.
