Quick up date for the lighting...the center stering wheel insert.

I just got to wrap the box and mount but here was a test fit and lighting test....

Just the insert

mounted but just insert lit

the dash full lit (Power on Only)

should of started the car and turned the lights on for pic so not to have the CEL on and taking from the effect- but oh well you guys get it.

I have kinda slowed down with the car due to holidays weather and just about everything else it seems but I did manage to get the Pro Hood back on the car- right before Snow....LOL

Not complete but I did want the get the Twin turbo style off for a couple weeks to work on.

Either way quick update.

Car looks good but instead of the nascar scoop you should swap a 2nd gen shaker scoop.

Thanks guys, It means alot-It seems to be one of those things were either you love or hate it.

And I do like the ProStyle alot more.

To me the car is currently at its ruff draft stage, I had the ideal and wanted to see what it would look like -
Honestly I love it and will deffently continue to work on it some more to perfect it ,

Just wanted to do a quick update...

I picked up a set of seats this weekend, i got a great deal and am super xited to get them in the car, just got to get me a set of 5points.

Although I thought of trying to get a shop to do some embrodiery...

would like to get the GTA logo ( like the emblems ) done on the seats...
So we will see.

Well I Fab up an adapter mount to use on the factory tracks so that seats bolted back in with out drilling. Extremely pleased with out come, Pic is of them mounted as a test fit- perfic tho, Am now removing the tracks from seats to refurbish and powedercoat. Got new springs already but dont have the stock caps for the seats and am looking for some- just think it will make a cleaner look.

i do have the tracks for the seats- if any one wants them... let me know

2/4 Update:

Up Next for the interior...Well newest items are the Autometer Gauges -
RPM MPH Volt Water Fuel Oil

I have some ideals for the mounting, but I am going need to do lil homework on wiring them in.

So if any one has any advice prior, please let me know-

I am not 100% sold on the chrome look trim, I may try to convert that to just Black - Reason is I am thinking of making a face plate to replace the stock gauge section-mounting the autometers in the same locations as stock but with a look simular to the 2nd gens. This will allow me to keep the Black and Gold theme on the inside as well. I will work on getting some type of pic of what I am thinking or at least as close as i can find.

Of course and thoughts are welcomed.

Also to add - I was able to get 1 G-Force 5point camlock harness in Black so i will need another. So let me know if any one might have one.
Just looking to see if i can get a set for less then JEGS

Gauges look good. I like that style.

Regarding the harness- do you have a roll bar?

Thanks,

Roll bar?
No there is no roll bar in the Car at this time.

To be 100% honest I have been mentally debating this question all month.
Thought about post a threat to vote

Roll Bar
Harness Bar

kind of a decision I keep bounching around with.

Yeah, and if this is a regular inspection/registration car you may run into issues at inspection with harnesses.

I have a million and one ideals but I will try to avoid the novel and give a brief description of the direction/;

Exterior,
NEW Spoiler & Mirrors
Wish For:
NEW Rims and Tires
Custom rear drift

Interior,
Install 5 point harness and gauges with custom dash, custom console and NOS mount, door panels redesigned, and new rug w/ custom floor features, redesign rear hatch-system layout.
Need:
NEW steering wheel, 4th gen center console and 4th gen Trans Am Lettering (emblems found on the doors)

Dash will Resembleming this look

Engine,
New Air Intake (getting rid of the stock and go with the pipe look)
Dress Up and Clean up- with some reorganizing
Ignition Upgrade (MSD Set up-ignition, distributor and coil)
NEW Wires and Plugs

Suspension Upgrades From/To:
Currently:
2.5 Eldelbrock lowering springs
Monroe sentrac self adjust shocks and struts
larger front and rear sway bars

Want:
Wonder bar
NEW A-arms
Strut tower bar
NEW panhard bars
NEW rear control arms
Subframe connectors
NEW shocks and struts
and maybe the torque arm relocation kit with torque arms

Kind of something that I am looking into and questioning about as it is.

Wish:
I could do air ride, but the price is keeping me away.

Exhaust
I want custom side exhaust ( fitted with something like the side sweep styles and will need to modify side skirts to create the right look)

Breaks
Would like to get a new set up or swap-

After that….I sleep.

WBT was asking about a roll bar or harness bar because the only way to install 5 point harnesses is with the use of either one
