Update...Airbrushing

Almost complete...at about 95%

Alot is flip flopping on me in life personaly- so as i go with the flow-i have found my mental release to be quit extreme once it hits the car...although i have to say i have impressed my own self...looking wicked....

So I airbrushed the whole trans am at this point except the true black fire and flame effects that will burn off the nose-fade to faces over the T Tops and hit the rear... this is what i got done so far...

Hood: The Trans Am bird is re-done with a metalic and pearl gold- color shifts in light like flickering fire...sweet in the sun, added smoke and ghost faces with in the toned black and grim reaper on the pro street scoop.

Just the T-Tops and Spoiler to do...already started to clear the car...Nose Hood Doors and Front fenders are cleared. Removed to paint the back sides and clear all around. sharp looking i think

OK, so here is the story, I am a modist person so i probly will never say to much- but i have been really into art since i was a kid (3-4yrs) and just kinda always did this stuff. I did go to school for Art Advertisement Design, but i didnt stay with it- Art was kinda always too personal and kinda my secret. Of course family and friends always pushed but i always pushed back....i got offers to go to Orlando Phily and San Fe before i got out of HighSchool- but i also turned it down.... i have not really done anything much since....

My best friend Robert "Bobby" Rudd was a big fan and always joked with the ideal of doing Airbrushing Tattoos Cars ect... he had a big imagination...

After he passed away in May and the drastic changes my personal life...i found my self just lost mentally....

I just started drawing and doing stuff again...guess kinda like a place of peace for me-stress relief or what ever it maybe....

thing is...paper is not enough

so i got the airbrush gun ! and the the TA became the paper...

My girlfriend who has really stuck by me threw everything reminded me what Bobbys last words were! and they deffiently touched home...She also actually came up with the ideal of BlackTop Ink...

So in short...I am going to do the one thing i have always ran from-Art and actually putting my self out there like that...

I did order a Tattoo gun and equipment- havent gotten everything needed just yet and have not done one yet...but will, and i will post it up.

As for the Airbrushing- well i love Art and Cars so why not...I like being different and trying new things.

So BlackTop Ink will be just that Airbrush Art and Tattoos...

the rest, well i guess we see what happens.

Thank you for the complament

I do have picture and videos of the process if any one wanted to see it...i think the best part about it all is that the whole car was free handed...no stencil and no temp...infact when i did it, i didnt even know what i was gonna do...

kinda of really just did what i felt at the time...
In fact each part of the car actually has a personal meaning...although i will probly just tell ppl it means my car is the REAPER...coming for your Title...LOL

Pass side was about 7hrs,
Driver side was about 10hrs
Hood was about 5hrs
nose and rear bumper was about 4hrs
Interior was about 3hrs to airbrsuh
Rearseat delete took about a day- to make and wrap everything in the leather...what a pain...

Still have more to go...I may change the bird a bit...but i have the spoiler that just looks like its sitting on top of the car...to do so we will see what i come up with for that.

Thanks for everyones replys...hope to bring more soon

Didn get a chance to post this before the NATS, but i got asked about it and i figure i post up some thing on it.

Spoiler- on Friday (10/22) i took off the stock spoiler and desides to try to swing the duck tail.
I used a 69 Camaro Spoiler- cut out section to shorten it-Angled it slightly to flow with the hatch. Angle was back and inward.
Fiberglass- and primer...

Now to finish it i will sand it all down smooth-but i want to mold it into the rear hatch itself-paint it black to match and maybe paint Trans AM on the Back... for the sides i will add a lil fiberglass to square off the ends a bit- but i like it raised a bit.

Either way I think it came out ok-deff change the look of the rear

Next on the TODO LIST...

Front Bumper / Fiberglass spoiler
Side Skirts / Fiberglass - molding for Tips
Side Exhaust
Guages / Install
Roll Bar / Subframe

Then i am done, for a while...lol
