Dead Battery.. WTF
i had a problem last month that if my car sat over the weekend the battery would be drained by monday mourning when i had to go to work. i got a new battery 3 weeks ago and everythings been fine untill this mourning it was dead again. i didnt drive my car since friday afternoon. WTF! in march i was driving cross country and my car sat for a month and when i got back it started right up. now 2 days and its dead?? im not to good with wiring or electronics but is there any way to figure out whats draining it? or anyone that could lend a hand? thanks

Alternator or the wiring to the battery could be a culprit.
Or it could be a stupid thing like a trunk light being on all the time. Thats what caused me to loose a battery before I figured it out.
Bring your alternator to an Autozone. They will test it for you for free.

Try your Alt, had the same thing when I took mine out of storage begining of summer. New Alt and all is well.

check all your main grounds and battery connections...thats where i'd start

next time. before you start it, check if the lights work, and if it doesn't start, check if the lights are still working. if the lights are working before and not after, then its probably a bad battery terminal. otherwise, i vote alternator

this has been happening alot with my car and my brothers. first i found out my fan was shorting out so i wired it to a switch, now it still seems to do it but it hasnt done it for like 3 days so its looking good. my brother hasnt seemed to have any luck wuth his tho. still dieing every day.. they were stone dead too, no lights even flickered.
